Val di Fassa is surrounded by the most beautiful giants of the Dolomites: Catinaccio, Torri del Vajolet, Sella Group, Sassolungo, and Marmolada, the queen of the Dolomites.

Val di Fassa develops in the upper part of the Avisio river, from the Marmolada glacier, from which it originates, up to Moena, where it enters Val di Fiemme. It is the only valley in Trentino where the Ladin language is still widely spoken. The ski resorts in the valley are part of the Dolomiti Superski consortium, the largest in the world.

As for summer tourism, the small but well-stocked villages use winter lifts to take tourists to more convenient access points for splendid excursions, characterized by alpine lakes, woods and rocky walls.

In summer Val di Fassa is a holiday region loved above all by hikers and naturalists. Here, endless opportunities await you for easy excursions immersed in an idyllic natural landscape, but also for more difficult routes up to the most beautiful mountain peaks and the most crystalline lakes of the Dolomites. Here a paradise opens up for bicycle lovers too. Our advice: the Dolomite cycle path, which starts from Alba di Canazei and then winds for 48 km through Val di Fassa, along the Avisio river, up to Val di Fiemme.
